[ABC 8:00] Washington Regulators: How They Cost You Money Sam Donaldson reports on how old policies contribute to today's inflation and mounting economic loss, particularly in the transportation field. The policies allow price fixing, discourage competition and foster inefficiency. The two agencies covered, which are primarily responsible for the federal economic regulation of transportation, are the Interstate Commerce Commission and the Civil Aeronautics Board. Donaldson conducts interviews with chairmen of both those boards, also Ford administration spokesmen, Congressional leaders and economists.

One prisoner becomes the symbol of all he desires to achieve in prison reform, but the convict has his own plan -- escape.
