[ABC 9:30] Alcoholism - Out Of The Shadows The nation's No. 1 health problem is alcoholism, according to the U.S. Department of Health. It surpasses heart diease, cancer and drug addiction, and it is estimated that between 6 and 9 million persons suffer from it, a figure that breaks down to two for every city block in America. Frank Reynolds reports from Rochester. The city was selected for two reasons: it is a typical middle-sized community, and has adopted a progressive attitude towards alcoholism.
