With Perry Como, Barbara Eden, Tony Curtis, Billy Casper. The main comedy sketch has a regulation-ridden world of the year 2000 as its theme. A romantic couple (Hope, Eden), because of a law banning love, attend their secret wedding at a "Love-easy" (as opposed to speakeasy), but the place gets raided. In another parody, an anti-smoking crusader (Curtis) brings along a bag of tricks and a final psychological weapon to reform an avid smoker (Hope). Still another routine features two actors (Hope, Como) who are rocketing to Mars, spicing their voyage with jingles and songs to attract a TV audience at a time when space shots have become blase.

A foreign power plots a false tidal wave alert to divert attention from the kidnapping of a famous genetic engineer who has discovered a revolutionary breakthrough in chemistry that will produce a super race.

[NBC 10:00] Tennessee Ernie Ford Special [special] Barbara Feldon, Eva Gabor, Joey Heatherton and Shirley Jones are guests of Ernie Ford in a comedy and musical special. Among the dozen musical productions and skits, Ernie plays a man with four wives, a country cousin who visits a gypsy to talk with a dead cow, and a modern-day Robin Hood. Also in a sketch, each of Ernie's guests donates her most attractive facial feature in an attempt to create the perfect woman.
