The game marked the NFL record 107th straight game in which Harold Carmichael caught at least one pass. Wilbert Montgomery rushed for 126 yards to go over the 1,000-yard mark for the second straight season. Tony Franklin's 59-yard field goal was the second longest in NFL history, just four yards short of Tom Dempsey's record.
