Rookie Larry Anderson's 95-yard kickoff return helped build a 13-7 halftime lead and the Steelers clinched the game in the third period with touchdown drives of 69 and 71 yards. The first drive was culminated by Terry Bradshaw's 28-yard pass to Lynn Swann. The other was capped by Rocky Bleier's one-yard plunge. Cleveland committed four turnovers, three of which led to Pittsburgh scores. Franco Harris' 41 yards made him the NFL's seventh all-time leading rusher with 6,824 yards.
