Terry Bradshaw ran three yards for a touchdown and threw a 22-yard scoring strike to Lynn Swann in a 17-point outburst in the final period to give the Steelers a 30-20 win and keep them on top in the AFC Central Division. Roy Gerela broke a 13-13 deadlock early in the fourth period with a 43-yard field goal which was followed by Bradshaw's touchdown run and pass. Franco Harris surpassed 1,000 yards rushing for the season and boosted his career total to 6,185, moving him into 10th place on the all-time NFL list.
