Garo Yepremian's 29-yard field goal with 55 seconds left in the game broke a 20-20 tie and Dick Anderson's interception preserved the Dolphins' win with 13 seconds left in the first all-Florida NFL game. Benny Malone led the Miami offensive attack with his second 100-yard game but it was a blocked field goal and blocked extra point by the Dolphins' special teams that helped give Miami the victory despite three touchdown catches by Morris Owens.
