Oakland set the stage for clinching its third straight AFC West title by downing the Chargers 17-10. Denver made the clinching official when it bowed to Kansas City in the Monday night game. Ken Stabler threw his 18th touchdown pass, a 60-yard bomb to Cliff Branch, but his streak of 155 passes without an interception was broken on his last toss of the day.
