Houston ran its winning streak to four with a 20-3 win over the Bengals, who also were the first victims in the string on October 27. Willie Rodgers scored two touchdowns and the Oilers sacked Ken Anderson six times for 55 yards and intercepted two passes. It was the longest win streak for Houston since 1962. Cincinnati fell 1½ games behind Pittsburgh in the AFC Central.
