James Harris completed only five passes but two of them traveled 40 and 25 yards to Harold Jackson for touchdowns and Lawrence McCutcheon rushed for 140 yards -- his fifth trip over 100 this season -- as the Rams increased their Western Division lead to four games. The shutout was Los Angeles' second of the year. Atlanta was coached by Marion Campbell, who was elevated from defensive coordinator to replace Norm Van Brocklin five days before the game.
