Bill Munson threw two touchdown passes and Mel Farr scored twice as Detroit handed Chicago its fifth straight setback. Farr's first touchdown was set up by Lem Barney's 32-yard run after intercepting a Gary Huff pass. The victory clinched second place in the NFC Central for the Lions and squared their record at 6-6-1. Huff replaced Bobby Douglass who suffered a knee injury early in the game.
