George Blanda moved in for a late save for the Raiders for the third straight game. Trailing with less than four minutes remaining, Blanda directed an attack climaxed by his TD pass to Fred Biletnikoff with 2:28 remaining. Daryle Lamonica earlier had thrown TD passes to Warren Wells and Hewritt Dixon to extend his streak to 25 games. Pete Liske passed to Jim Whalen for a Denver TD and carried one himself for another.
