A two-run homer by Keith Moreland and two-run double by Ryne Sandberg enabled the Cubs to edge the Dodgers, 4-3. Moreland's blast came in the fourth inning following a single by Bill Buckner. Sandberg drilled his two-bagger with the bases loaded in the fifth. Randy Martz pitched 7 1/3 innings to gain the victory while Bill Campbell, taking over with two men on and none out in the ninth, earned the save. [The Sporting News]
