A three-run double by Kent Hrbek highlighted a five-run rally in the ninth inning that carried the Twins to a 5-2 victory over the A's. The Twins trailed, 2-0, when John Castino led off the ninth with a single. After one out, Jim Eisenreich walked. One out later, Mickey Hatcher singled to load the bases and Hrbek cleared the sacks with his two-bagger.
