Bob Knepper pitched a five-hitter and drove in four runs as the Giants blanked the Astros, 8-0. The first Giants' run came in the second inning on an RBI double by Roger Metzger. In the fifth frame, the Giants scored two more on RBI singles by Joe Strain and Willie McCovey.
