Helped by errors, the Expos posted a 4-1 victory over the Braves. Warren Cromartie walked to start the Expos' fourth inning and Rodney Scott followed with a bunt down the third base line that Bob Horner threw wildly past first, allowing Cromartie to score.

When Jerry Royster made a bad throw to the plate on same play, Scott came around to tally the Expos' second run. Larry Parrish stroked a run-scoring single in the fifth and Gary Carter drove in another run with a single in the eighth. [The Sporting News]
