A homer by Buddy Bell in the eighth inning snapped a 3-3 tie and enabled the Rangers to edge the Twins, 4-3. Bell's blast was his first this season. Jim Kern, in relief of starter Steve Comer, pitched the last 1 1/3 innings to gain the victory and raise his record to 6-0. [The Sporting News]
