Cesar Geronimo drove in three runs with a sacrifice fly and a double, and Johnny Bench batted in pair with a bases-loaded single to help the Reds take a 6-2 lead before the Dodgers erupted to tie the score with two-run homers by Bill Russell and Steve Garvey in the eighth inning.
