Eric Wilkins got credit for his first major league victory with the help of Don Hood when the Indians defeated the Brewers, 8-1. The Tribe took the lead in the fourth inning when Gary Alexander walked and Toby Harrah, Wayne Cage and Ron Pruitt followed with singles.
