Mike Flanagan lost his bid for a no-hitter with two out in the ninth inning when Gary Alexander hit a 320-foot opposite field homer as the Orioles notched a 3-1 victory over the Indians. Flanagan yielded two singles after the round-tripper and was relieved by Don Stanhouse, who got the final out.
