A single by Willie Norwood in the top of the 11th inning drove in the winning run, enabling the Twins to snap their seven-game losing streak with a 3-2 victory over the Blue Jays. The score was 2-2 going into the 11th when Butch Wynegar smacked a leadoff double. Rob Wilfong ran for Wynegar and scored one out later on Norwood's hit to right. The Jays had tied the contest in the eighth on RBI singles by Al Woods and John Mayberry. [The Sporting News]
