The White Sox retaliated with a run in their half on a pass to Ralph Garr, a sacrifice and a double by Mike Squires. However, Garr was the goat in the fourth, dropping a fly by Andre Thornton for a two-base error. Thornton then scored the deciding run on a single by Gary Alexander. [The Sporting News]
