Rick Monday was announced as a pinch-hitter for Tommy John, but when Tug McGraw replaced Warren Brusstar on the mound for the Phils, Manny Mota pinch-hit for Monday and delivered the game-winning hit off third baseman Mike Schmidt's glove.
