Undefeated since joining the Braves, Larry McWilliams gained his sixth straight victory, pitching a four-hitter and shutting out the Cardinals, 3-0. The complete game, however, was the first for the lefthander since coming up from Richmond (International) in mid-July. Bob Forsch suffered his ninth straight defeat.
