A dropped popup in the 13th triggered a two-run comeback that gave the Red Sox a 6-5 victory over the Indians. After an RBI single by Andre Thornton put the Tribe ahead, 5-4, in the top of the 13th, Butch Hobson led off the bottom of the frame by hitting a 90-foot pop fly that Thornton dropped for an error. Hobson kept running, rounded second and scored when catcher Bo Diaz retrieved the ball and threw wildly past third.
