The Bucs scored in their first turn at bat on a double by Phil Garner, single by Dave Parker and sacrifice fly by Bill Robinson. In the second, John Milner stroked a leadoff single, took third on a single by Duffy Dyer and scored when Jim Rooker bounced into a forceout.
