Don Sutton yielded only two hits and pitched the Dodgers to a 2-1 victory over the Pirates. The Dodgers, who were held to four hits by Don Robinson, scored a run in the first inning on two walks and a single by Ron Cey. Robinson singled in the third for the Pirates' first hit off Sutton and Willie Stargell homered for the other hit to tie the score in the seventh.
