The Pirates swept a doubleheader from the Expos, 3-1 and 4-3. Bert Blyleven scattered five hits over eight innings in the opener and drove in all the Buc runs with a bases-loaded double. His two-base hit came with two out in the second and followed singles by Bill Robinson and Manny Sanguillen and an intentional walk to Steve Brye.
