Following an intentional pass to George Hendrick, Ken Reitz hit a sacrifice fly. Ellis Valentine tied the score with a homer off Bob Forsch in the seventh. Mike Tyson doubled in the eighth and was stranded, but his second two-bagger won the game in the 10th.
