Pete LaCock, who had only five RBIs to his credit previously this season, knocked in four runs with a homer and a double to pace the Royals to a 7-5 victory over the A's. After the Royals counted twice in the first inning on singles by George Brett and Darrll Porter, LaCock came up and smashed a three-run homer.
