Juan Beniquez singled four times and drove in four runs and Jim Sundberg equalled a club record by hitting in his 17th consecutive game as the Rangers posted a 6-4 decision over the A's. Al Oliver started the three-run Texas first inning with a walk and moved to second on a single by Bobby Bonds, playing in his first game for the Rangers.
