After George Foster's RBI single had given the Reds a 1-0 lead in the first, the Phils rebounded for three runs when Bud Harrelson and Jay Johnstone doubled, Luzinski walked, Hebner singled, Bob Boone grounded out and Jerry Martin reached first on a fielder's choice.
