Miguel Dilone singled to produce the winning tally in the nightcap. Gary Thomasson led off the 14th with a single and went to second on an infield out. After Mitchell Page was walked intentionally and reliever Tom Johnson balked, Dilone rapped a 2-2 pitch into left to score Thomasson.
