The first career grand-slam homer by Paul Dade propelled the Indians to a 6-5 decision over the Blue Jays. The big blast came with one out in the fourth and the Tribe trailing, 3-2. Willie Horton and Horace Speed singled and Duane Kuiper beat out an infield hit before Dade lashed a 1-2 pitch into the left field seats. [The Sporting News]
