Don Baylor hit a two-run homer in the seventh inning and southpaw Ken Brett tossed a five-hitter in leading the Angels to a 3-0 victory over the Twins. Baylor's blow came after Joe Rudi opened the inning with a double. The third run came in the eighth on successive singles by Bobby Grich, Lyman Bostock and Rudi.
