Pinch-hitter Davey Johnson broke a 6-6 tie with a sixth-inning single as the Phillies defeated the Cardinals, 12-6. Johnson's single drove in Ted Sizemore who had doubled. Jay Johnstone led off the inning with a double and Bob Boone singled as the Phils erased a 6-4 deficit. [The Sporting News]
