. . . where the 1970s live forever!
A grand slam by Mike Cubbage climaxed an 11-run explosion in the fourth inning and enabled the Twins to outslug the Indians, 14-10. A three-run double by Ron Pruitt paced the Indians to a 7-1 lead before the Twins erupted to tie their club record for most runs in one inning. Glenn Adams started the outburst with a homer. Cubbage, who batted twice during the stanza, drove in a run with a single on his first trip before unloading his jackpot wallop off Pat Dobson. [The Sporting News]
