. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Willie Randolph, who hit two singles and scored twice, followed with a two-run homer in the eighth inning to clinch the Yankees' 5-2 victory over the Brewers. Don Gullett gave up the Brewers' four hits and both their runs in 6 2/3 innings before Dick Tidrow relieved. One of the Brewers' runs came on a single by Dick Davis for his first major league RBI in his first major league game. [The Sporting News]
