Biff Pocoroba, who won the previous night's game with a grand slam, smashed a homer and double to lead the Braves' attack in a 10-8 victory over the Expos, who suffered their eighth straight defeat. Pocoroba drove in two runs and Barry Bonnell also accounted for two with a pair of singles. Jerry Royster and Jeff Burroughs each had three of the Braves' 16 hits. Larry Parrish hit two homers and Andre Dawson one for the Expos. Dawson's homer was the first of his major league career. [The Sporting News]
