Rod Carew rapped two triples, a double and single in five trips to lead the Twins 14-hit attack in a 5-4 victory over the Blue Jays. The Twins built up a 5-0 lead, getting their decisive run on a triple by Larry Hisle, but it almost was not enough to withstand Blue Jays' rallies in the last two innings. [The Sporting News]
