. . . where the 1970s live forever!
After a wild start, Jim Colborn settled down and pitched the Royals to a 6-1 victory over the Blue Jays. In the first inning, Colborn gave up a double by Bob Bailor, walked two batters and allowed the Blue Jays' run on a wild pitch. In the fourth inning, the Royals similarly scored on a wild pitch by Bill Singer with the bases loaded before Darrell Porter singled to drive in two runs. Porter added an RBI with a single in the sixth. [The Sporting News]
