. . . where the 1970s live forever!
Bob Bailor led off the game with a homer and drove in the winning run with a single in the 12th inning as the Blue Jays posted a 6-5 victory, handing the Indians their seventh straight defeat. After Bailor's blow in the first inning, Doug Ault homered with two men on base to give the Blue Jays a 4-0 lead. Andre Thornton rapped a round-tripper for the Indians in the seventh, but Ron Fairly matched it with a homer for the Blue Jays in the eighth.

The Indians then rallied in the ninth to force the game into overtime. After the Indians loaded the bases on two passes and an infield hit by Fred Kendall, Rick Manning walked to force in the first run and Bill Melton followed with a pinch-double, clearing the sacks and tying the score. In the 12th, Alan Ashby walked, Pedro Garcia sacrificed and Bailor won the game for the Blue Jays with his single. [The Sporting News]
