The Orioles extended their winning streak to five games and posted their 10th victory in a row on the road by defeating the Tigers, 7-3. Doug DeCinces homered for the Orioles in the second inning and Lee May hit for the circuit with two aboard in the fifth. Mickey Stanley, who had only one homer to his credit previously this season, produced all of the Tigers' tallies with a pair of round-trippers. [The Sporting News]
