Getting the first shutout to credit of their staff this season, the Cubs ended a five-game losing streak by defeating the Giants, 4-0. Ken Frailing pitched the first three innings before leaving the mound because of a tightened shoulder and Oscar Zamora completed the shutout, working the last six stanzas and allowing only three hits.
