Al Bumbry, who seldom hits homers, came up with two out in the ninth inning and smashed a drive over the fence to give the Orioles a 4-3 victory over the Royals. The homer was Bumbry's first of the year. Brooks Robinson also hit his first homer of the year for the Orioles previously in the third. [The Sporting News]
