Roy Smalley batted in two runs with a double and Jeff Burroughs accounted for two more with a pair of sacrifice flies to lead the Rangers to a 5-4 victory over the Royals. Smalley hit his double with the bases loaded in the second inning. Roy Howell drove in another run with a single in the third.
