Allowing only four hits, Ed Figueroa pitched the Angels to a 2-0 victory over the Athletics. Stan Bahnsen, who started for the A's, uncorked four wild pitches in 6 1/3 innings. Two of them led to the Angels' first run in the fifth. Dave Collins walked, advanced to second on a wild pitch, took third on an infield out and scored on a wild pitch.
