With the Astros leading, 2-1, in the seventh inning, Steve Garvey hit a two-run homer that cleared the center field fence as the Dodgers went on to win, 4-2. The triumph, only the second in seven games for the Dodgers, made Don Sutton the first 11-game winner in the National League.
