Posting his third shutout of the season, Don Sutton brought his record to 7-1 by pitching the Dodgers to a 7-0 victory over the Pirates. The Dodgers settled Ken Brett's fate with two runs in the fifth inning on a walk to Davey Lopes, triple by Lee Lacy and a wild pitch.
