The Rangers smashed three homers in the eighth inning while scoring six runs to gain a come-from-behind 12-10 victory over the Brewers. After trailing, 6-1, the Rangers erupted for five runs in the seventh, but a double by Don Money and single by Johnny Briggs put the Brewers ahead again in their half before the Rangers exploded in the eighth.

Jeff Burroughs and Jim Spencer smashed their homers in succession and, after Dave Nelson singled to drive in another run, Cesar Tovar came up with two men on base and provided the deciding blow with his circuit clout, giving him five RBIs for the game. The Brewers were unable to catch up, although Pedro Garcia hit a two-run homer. [The Sporting News]
